“The third member of the violin family”
Cello.......😍😍
The cello is a bowed string instrument of the violin family. The name cello is derived from the ending of the Italian violoncello.
Cellos are made by luthiers, specialists in building and repairing
stringed instruments, ranging from guitars to violins. In modern symphony orchestras, it is the second largest stringed
instrument. We play the cello with a bow while sitting down
and holding it upright between our legs. Its four
strings are usually tuned in perfect fifths, from low to
high, C2, G2, D3, and A3. The cello is the tenor voice in the string section. It can play an octave lower than the viola. The cello is less common in popular music than in classical music. There are usually between eight and twelve cellos in a symphony orchestra.
